Quick Update

New things are happening!  As always, my life is in the constant state of change.  

As some of you know, I work with Youth With A Missions (or YWAM).  The base I work on offers a lot of different kinds of training (from church planting to midwifery).  YWAM has an entry level course called the Discipleship Training School (or DTS).  Yes, we are ALL about abbreviating stuff :)    Anyway...... the DTS is for people who want to go deeper with God.  It's an intensive 6 months course that focuses on helping the individual go deeper with God through classes that cover the Character of God, Hearing God's voice, Evangelism,  Forgiveness and Repentance (everyone's favorite), etc. The DTS students also live on base for 3 of those 6 months living with us, eating with us, and cleaning the base with us.  They also have homework, small groups, evangelism, field trips, and just having a lot of fun :) Sometimes, the students even get saved while doing the school.  

Why am I telling you about our DTS?????  Well, last week after prayer, we decided for me to help with the DTS for the next 3 months. 

 "Don't you lead that other school?  What's it called??  The School of Frontier Missions (SOFM)??" 

          Yes I do. 

So! I'll be staffing the DTS until December and then will be leading the SOFM in January.  YAY!! 

What does that mean???  No personal life for 6 months :)

Here's a peek of my schedule

5 am ------ wake up 

5-6 am- --------spend time with Jesus (and my coffee cup)

6-6:30 am --------- morning exercises with the students)

7:15 am --------- prayer for the students

8:30 - 12:30  ---------- class

1:30 - 5:30 ----------- grading homework, meeting students 1:1 for mentoring, etc

evening---------either class, small groups, evangelism, or church

weekends ------------ field trips

SO! if you don't hear much from me for the next few months, it's because I'm dead (hehe! just kidding).  

Sorry for not posting any pictures.  It's 7:30 am on a Sunday and I haven't had my coffee yet :)

BUT!!!   School starts today so I'll be clicking away!
