The Beginning

Well, it's been 2 1/2 weeks of school and boy! am I busy!  I'm having some great classes learning strategies and history and the like.  I'm finding myself quit swamped with work.  The following is a typical week for me:
8-8:30 (chores)
8:30-10 (various activies)
10-10:15 (morning tea.....oh yeah!)
10:15-12:30 (class)
12:20-1 (lunch)
1:30-3:30 (work duty)
4-5 (workshops or study time)
5:30-6 (supper)

So in my free time, I get to do all my homework which includes 2 book reports, a research paper, my journal (which requires a lot of info in it), and then find time to go shopping.  To say the least, I am busy.  That's the way I like it :)

But! the big man is good.  I see myself changing already with all the things I'm learning and applying in my life.  I'm beginning to build friendships and my relationship with him.

Ok! enough of that!  Time for pics!

First, it's actually a video.  We sing this for every birthday we have.....it's actually a combination of 3 songs.  Under the video, I have a written the words:

Oh happy birthday to you, Oh happy birthday to you.  May you find Jesus near everyday of the year! Oh happy birthday to you, Oh happy birthday to you, and the best year that you have ever had.........Happy Birthday! It's (insert name) birthday! Happy, happy birthday to you! Happy Birthday! It's (insert name) birthday! Happy, happy birthday to you!........Happy, happy birthday from all of us to you. Oh! happy happy birthday from all of us to you. Oh! happy, happy birthday from all of us to you.......happy, happy birthday from all of us to you! hip-hip! hurray! hip-hip! hurray! Then the next part is what they yell if the birthday person is an Aussie:
Aussie! Aussie! Aussie!
Oye! Oye! Oye!

I guess it's an aussie thing.
Ok! on to the other pics!

Every once in while, you just crave good ol' american food. So here you see my friend's subway and my "Hungry Jack's" which in America is Burger King.  And then there's my favorite drink ever.....a chocolate, banana, and expresso milkshake....oh yeah!

Last night, I went to a birthday party.  Since the girl's name began with an "M", we had to come as something that started with "M".  So, here a few outfits: Mismatched, Men, Martians,  a
Movie star and a Make-up artist,  Married couple (Abraham and Sarah....aren't they cute!), Mary, Miriam (from Robin Hood), Martial Artist, and then there's me, the Model.

I guess that's about it.  I'll leave you with a few Aussie words for you guess what they mean:

Breaky
Supper
Dinner
Pressie
Servo
Runners
